really great 4 night stay. separate bedroom, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. excellent and great location with easy access to a supermarket and a convenience shop. not far from reykjavik airport, approx 0.5 km distance.

excellent central location, clean and well-equipped apartment. Double aspect windows great for people-watching. Supermarket opposite for easy self-catering. Netflix access on big TV was a bonus. Highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Reykjavik.

we had a wonderful stay in reykjavik near downtown and aldi in the uk and the airport. we loved location, it was very central. everything was perfect, the apartment is goat!

The apartment itself was spacious and well-equipped. The host was also easily reachable and provided clear instructions. We loved the fantastic location, within walking distance of the central university, shops, and restaurants. The hotel had a nice decoration and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and they even stored our luggage for two extra days. The convenience of parking valet was great, just make sure to call ahead to avoid long waits.

It has perfect and magnificent setting the near Pub. Staffs are very amiable and amicable. It has an electric kettle, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator...

For the money we paid, the value was excellent. The room at Backyard Apartments was spacious, bright, and had all the necessary amenities in the kitchen. The location couldn't have been more perfect, with the busiest shopping street, bars, restaurants, and a supermarket right across the street. The staff, especially Tanja, was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

As for breakfast offerings, it would have been nice to have a greater variety of options.

We had an amazing stay at the Backyard Apartments. From the moment we booked, the communication was clear and the instructions provided were helpful in guiding us to the apartment. the location was perfect for sightseeing as we were able to walk to various attractions like Perlan, Fly over Island, and the Whales museum within 30 minutes. There was also a convenient shop right across the street for all our needs. the apartment itself was spacious and well-equipped, although a few additional amenities like a cheese grater and extra hooks for coats would have been nice. the host was easily reachable and responded promptly to our inquiries. we highly recommend the Backyard Apartments for a wonderful stay in Reykjavík. Cons: All was good 😊.

My teenage daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this conveniently located hotel. The LOCATION was excellent, with easy access to restaurants and bus stops for tours and transportation. The place was well cleaned and very COMFORTABLE, with all the basic supplies we needed. The staff was quick in their COMMUNICATION and resolved any issues promptly. We also appreciated the flexibility in storing our luggage before and after check-in.

Strongly recommend this hotel.
